Barra Mansa’s social responsibility projects aim to provide the best for both employees and environment, executing actions which bring great benefits not only to the industry, but also to all society. They include the following:
Project for a Better World
Giving a high priority to the life quality of its employees and the business environment, various tree seedlings, which have been donated by the City Mayor, have been planted in specific areas of the company.
By means of this small gesture, Barra Mansa has reduced the environmental impact, increased its green area and its own employees are now closer to Nature.
Project of Inclusion and Follow-up of People with Special Needs in the Company
With this initiative, Barra Mansa performs a work of social inclusion, assistance and enhancement of human beings. This project aims to provide support to the company in hiring and following up handicapped people, seeking to value their qualities and directing them to perform activities according to their potential.
