2. Electrode paste is a kind of important comsumptive,electric conductive material for ferro alloy furnace and calcium carbide furnace,also called self baking electrode and can be categorized into two groups based on different recipes:THD&THM,
and electrode paste for chemical industries.
Electrode past materials used are anthracite coal,foundry coke,petroleum coke,graphite scrap through drying,mixing and then crushed together with adhesives---coal tar,pitch. It can be used as self baking electrode for alloy smelting furnaces.
3. THD(Standard/Non-standard Paste): standard paste used for open type ferro alloy furnace and and calcium carbide furnace with small and medium size. Non-standard paste adopted in open large scaled calcium carbide furnace.
THM:suitable for closed or enclosed type ferro alloy furnce, calcium carbide furnace, and other metallurgical furnaces.

b. Lower resistivity a thus lowered power energy loss during metallurgical process
c. Small porosity thus decreased electrode's oxidation when heating
