Features of Youmet cervical dilation rod:

Fast : Indwell for 1-2 minutes for intrauterine device insertion or removal and 2-3 minutes for artificial abortion. It is not suitable to indwell it for more than 5 minutes.

Flexible:Physical and flexible dilation, no pain, no stimulation, and no sensitization.

Smooth: Absorbent material has small surface friction after absorbing fluid and is super lubricating.

Operating Instruction :

1.Confirm uterus location and size in pelvic examination; sterilize vagina and cervical canal; stabilize cervix by cervical clamps; and detect uterine cavity to determine the size to be used.

2.Unpack the inner packing of the selected product under no-bacteria condition and take the product out. Hold the end of the insert rod; take off the protective cap; and submerge dilation rod’s body in accessory liquid and soak for 15-20 seconds.

3.Hold the end of the insert rod, slowly insert the dilation rod into cervical canal with the front end slightly over internal cervical orifice.

4.For failed insertion caused by overtight cervical orifice, use small-size metal dilator to dilate cervical canal beforehand. For non-ideal dilating effect with cervical relaxation degree not meeting operation demand, re-insert dilation rod of corresponding size for continuing dilation.

5.Indwelling time: 1-2 minutes for intrauterine device insertion or removal and 2-3 minutes for artificial abortion. It is not suitable to indwell it for more than 5 minutes.

6.During removal, hold the end of the insert rod to gently rotate, and wihdraw this product when it is loose.

Indication:

Intrauterine device insertion and removal, artificial abortion for gestation of less than 10 weeks, and operations need cervical canal be dilated beforehand.

Warm tips:

1.Submerge cercival dilation rod in accessory liquid and soak for no more than 20 seconds to avoid over-dilated rod body affecting insertion.

2.It is not suitable to indwell dilation rod’s body for more than 5 minutes. Gently rotate insert rod before withdrawing product.

3.Please use upon opening inner packing. Make sure product is soaked in accessory liquid before inserting it to cervical canal. Do not use if package is damaged or product is contaminated.

4.This product is for single use, please abandon immediately after using and prevent it from being contaminated.

Contraindication:

Vagina and cervical canal infection, trauma or severe deformation; cervical canal longer than 5.5mm.
