Y2 series three-phase induction motors are a basic series of low voltage three-phase cage-shaped induction motors with a general application, improved on the basis of the Y series motors. The new series is composed of two types of designs, Y2 and Y2-E.

Y2 series has F class insulation, IP54 class protection and IP55 class protection of the wire box. The wires stretch out of the box in two ways, from the top and from one side of the frame.

Y2-E series suit the occasions when motors work continuously over a long period of time with a high load, such as to coordinate with blowers and pumps. The motor has a higher efficiency with less energy, large starting torque, low noise and less vibration. The frame ranges from 80 to 280.
