Applied Features
1. The curing accelerator CBS-80 provides a considerably scorch time, great processing safety and a fast full cure. CBS-80 is used as a sole accelerator for the low sulfur vulcanization or in combination with dithiocarbamate or thiuram accelerators.
2.The vulcanizates obtained have good ageing resistance and a good compression set. The scorch time of compounds containing CBS-80 in combination with thiurams and dithiocarbamates is noticeably reduced. Thiourea has a strong secondary acceleration effect on CBS-80, mainly in mixes containing little sulphur. In compounds which are accelerated with mercaptanes and thiurams, CBS-80 may delay scorching.
