JSA-101 is a two components water-based waterproof coating.

Component A is consisted of high quality modified acrylic emulsion and various additives.

Component B is consisted of iron-rich containing and high-alumina cement.

It has the outstanding acrylic ester polymer emulsion-based performance and forms membranes with high elongation rate (above 200%), weather resistance for non-permanent immersion environment.

Typical properties

Packaging

Powder and liquid of JSA-101 is separately packed in 8kg and 10kg plastic bags, sealed in 18kg plastic casks and transported in wooden cases. Each wooden case can be contained 36 casks of JSA-101.

JSA-101 material should be stored in sealed. Liquid materials should be put in shade places above 5° C. Powder materials should be put in dry places.

Transportation

JSA-101 can be stored for 6 months under normal transport conditions.

Application System

Constructive System

The system is basically consisted of substrate, additional layer, waterproof coated membrane and protection layer.

Coverage

2.4kg per m2 gives dft 1mm minimum. Coverage may vary with the substrate condition during application.

Application method

Surface preparation

Surfaces should be stable, clean, smooth, without obvious water and free from any dusts, oil or loose particles. Cracks and surface irregularities need to be filled by sealants and do additional waterproofing.

Mixing

Mix powder and liquid of JSA-101 according to the ratio on the package. The amount of water should be properly added to control the stickiness to satisfy the different application requirements for vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Additional layer

Paint JSA coating 2-4 times as additional layer to enhance at internal and external corners, drain pipes, floor drains or embedded parts. It is better to use reinforced materials for basement projects.

Application of waterproof coated membrane

JSA need to be coated at least 4 times. It must be painted again after fully dry. The normal time between each painting is 8 hours or more during winter time. When add reinforced materials, they must be flat without fold. The lapping parts need to be more than 100 mm. Paint JSA before adding reinforced materials, and after adding reinforced materials, JSA coatings must be painted again.

Application of protection layer

After waterproof coated membrane is fully dry and meets quality requirements, it can begin application of protection layer.
