The lens is a fisheye conversion lens that attaches to the front of an existing lens,similar to the Jollystar Optics 52mm 0.25x lens. But the new 52mm 0.25x lens G2 lens works better than the old lens works. It can also be used as a 12.5x Macro lens, by unscrewing the back element, and using that part on its own.
