Process:
Multilayer rubber spring is vulcanized with multiply rubber layers and flat steel plates which are placed alternatively.
Application:
It is suitable for the secondary suspension of the railway vehicles, with its good compressive loading and shear deflecting capacity. It can bear the weight of the car-body and the shear deflection between the bogie and car-body. It is widely used for central and side bearers in the locomotives, and for emergency and auxiliary springs in high-speed, metro and LRV trains.
It is also widely used in traction device and primary suspension of railway vehicles and other non-railway fields, such as automaobile, engineering machinery and shipping etc.
Features:
With relatively large loading area, it has good compressive capacity and high compressive stiffness in the vertical direction of the rubber layers. Morevoer in the shear direction which is parallel with rubber layers, it has the low shear stiffness and good shear capacity.
