Light sensitive,battery operated pop-hole door opener for vertical sliding doors.

As for the External VSB Door Opener, but this unit is mounted inside the house (as is the vertical sliding door) and a small cable carrying a light sensor is placed to the outside of the house and then connected to the VSB unit.

This is a super little battery operated unit that will open and close your henhouse pop-hole door according to light levels. The VSB is only for opening and closing vertical sliding doors - it will not work for ramps. It fits on the outside of the house and with a draw string will raise and lower the pop-hole door. No more getting up at 5am to let the hens out, or rushing home to close them in.
To give more control to the VSB unit e.g. if you dont want the birds out at 4am in June (vulenerable to the fox/disturbs the neighbours) you can add a Digital Battery Timer to the system to be able to control the door opening time in the morning and/or evening.

This internal installation makes the whole unit much less obtrusive. (4 x AA Batteries included).
